Natural Feeding For Pets

I'm very pleased to announce that the Appalachia School of Holistic Herbalism will be offering a class on Natural Feeding For Pets again this year on Sunday, June 7, 2009. I took this class last year and found it to be very informative and engaging. Here's the blurb from ASHH; see their website for more info:
Natural Feeding for Pets w/ Granny Sam
Sun, June 7, 1-5pm. Come learn how to identify specific needs in pets that can be addressed with diet and herbs. Know how to properly prepare and feed pets a more species appropriate well balanced diet, and confidently prepare foods for travel and boarding, using ingredients found in every grocery store. Understand how to properly use fresh and dried herbs, herbal infusions, dietary supplements, and fresh raw or cooked meats and vegetables for the betterment of your pet's health.

Books & Bubbly

This Friday, May 15th from 5pm until 8pm there will be a fundraiser at Battery Park Book Exchange & Champagne Bar, located 1 Battle Square (right across from the Grove Arcade). Drinks, Hors D'oeuvres & Raffle Prizes all benefit the homeless animals of Brother Wolf Animal Rescue. Hope to see you there!
